About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 140A2326Q0163 regarding SIPI Dorm Blinds, dated 1 September 2026.
The solicitation requires furnishing and installation of window blinds for dormitory facilities. Two blind types are specified: vertical blinds (196 units total) and roller blinds (57 units total) in various opening dimensions ranging from 32" to 111" in width and 20" to 65" in height. Vertical blinds must be vinyl material in a basket weave pattern, cordless control style, and light gray color to avoid dust accumulation from cloth materials. Roller blinds should be Azelea or comparable material type in light brown color, with cordless control preferred for student rooms and negotiable control styles for pool/TV areas. Comparable product options are acceptable as alternatives. The document clarifies that fabric and color selections will be determined based on the quoted manufacturer's available options. A site visit is available by contacting Mr. Randy Larry at 505.382.4507 to inspect the dormitory rooms where the blinds will be installed.
