1Please Confirm if the equipment is staying in place or being removed . If the equipment is to stay we would need a high lighted plan to follow of what is staying and what is being removed to estimateServing lines are not to moved. All other equipment the school wiil move.
key ways will be necessary for the installation in the kitchen areas where we are going over tile . For the purpose of apples to apples bids ,Will the key in detail be added to the scope? This will take substantial labor and
if it is not performed the system will fail at the edges .
2Coolers will need to be shut down for installation of the flooring system . Please confirm this will be possible .Epoxy will not be installed in cooler. They are going to be replaced.
3Cooler walls are metal . The specified system does not bond to metal . ¼ inch hardy backer will need be installed screwed and glued . Please confirm this will be added to the scope or will we delete cove base at the coolers and use metal radius flashing .Epoxy will not be installed in cooler. They are going to be replaced.
4Now that the restrooms have changed to epoxy will epoxy cove base be installed or will rubber base be replaced ?No Epoxy on base boards, will stay rubber.
5At the dining room area where existing slim foot tile is installed . Will we be installing epoxy cove base over the tile in this area ?Yes
6Please confirm if the installation of the epoxy flooring will be done while school is in session or out of session . Please confirm all areas will be shut down during installation .CO will answer.
7Please confirm a VOLUME 2 Technical Proposal is necessary for this project and not just a price proposalYes
