About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a Physical Access Control System (PACS) that is compliant with HSPD-12 and FIPS 201-D requirements for the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Justice Services (OJS), District VI.

The key details are: A minimum of three DVR cameras are required with one week of recording capability, with two located at the entrance and one at the evidence room. A 72-hour backup UPS is required for the PACS system, though the existing rack may not have sufficient capacity. The solicitation provides responses to multiple questions regarding the PACS system requirements, including that it will be a stand-alone system, the location of the client workstation, the preferred credential type, and the responsibility for providing additional hardware. The amendment also extends the bid due date from April 16 to April 25, 2024.
