Additionally, the official award date and final finish selections would be needed prior to any product order. Can the government please confirm that the period of performance end date will be determined after award by the actual product lead times, shipping and delivery, and installation activities are scheduled and completed?
A1. Since this is a Best Value Trade Off solicitation please make sure to highlight or bold the date in your quote what the delivery date would need to be. This is considered a commercial supply purchase with incidental service installation. The government will update the statement of work to reflect this.
Q2. Will the government please confirm that Davis Bacon does not apply to any portion of the FF&E or furniture services?
A2. This is considered a commercial supply purchase with incidental service installation and is not for any type of construction. The Davis Bacon act does not apply and the Service Contract Act wage determination for Clark County, Washington applies for any services provided. This document was supplied with the solicitation.
Q3. Can the Government confirm all work is to be completed in (1) Phase for all (3) Floors?

A4. The government will be adding the PDF’s of building 993 and PDF’s of the CAD drawings to the solicitation that was posted.
Q5. Has the Government selected an electrical contractor for the Junction box connections?
A5. The electrician that is to be utilized will be provided by the awarded Contractor if the furniture requires electrical whips, hard wiring or electrical connections. The government will update the statement of work to add this task for the contractor.
Q6. Does the Government anticipate any IT work ahead of FF&E installation?
A6. There is no IT work anticipated as all IT outlets for the offices’ internet have all been previously wired and are located next to most of the power outlets in the building.

A7. The government anticipates no low voltage requirements if an electrician is required please refer to A5.
Q8. If any existing power/data outlets need to be relocated to meet headcount, is that an option? Or must fit most headcount possible with existing power/data?
A8. The government would not like to move any existing power/data outlets. The government would like the minimum 45 total desk headcount (14) existing high wall cubicles currently installed onsite, (3) executive offices setups, (17) high wall cubicles, (11) lower wall cubicles with the existing power/data outlets.
Q9. If New workstations cannot match exact overall height of Existing workstations, will that be acceptable to the government? Or should the response reflect Existing in that case to keep consistent height throughout?
A9. The office furniture offered by the Contractor does not need to exactly match the overall height but needs to be something similar in height.
Q10. The SF 1449 and Section 2.2 note to use the provided furniture list for pricing. However, additional items outside the list may be required for the project. Can the government please advise if only this list should be used and items on this list should be priced; or if a contractor-created BOM with individually priced line items, can be supplemental to the government list and thus is acceptable for submission?
A10. If the government price list provided is not used then a contractor-created BOM with individually priced line items, can be supplemental to the government list and would be acceptable for submission on their quote.
