140A1222Q0013 CCTV Replacement Solicitation requests and responses

1. Please confirm the new system requires a new PLC and Inputs & Outputs to be installed to replace the existing proprietary door control and intercom control boards.

- Yes, it required a new PLC and Inputs & Outputs to be installed

2. Please confirm that a PC-driven HMI Door and Intercom control system is desired to replace the existing graphic control panels.

- Yes

3. Is touchscreen functionality required, or is mouse-driven acceptable?

- Touch screen is required

4. What size monitor for the HMI (Door Control Screen) is required?

- 24 inch

5. Are automatic camera call-up functions required? (When an intercom is pressed, the two closest associated cameras automatically populate the call-up monitor. This will require integration of the GUI, Intercom and IP camera system.)

- Yes, automatic camera call-up functions are required

6. Is the existing countertop to be reused? There is currently a custom-built turret on the countertop that will not allow monitors to sit on the countertop. If the countertop is to be replaced, is that the responsibility of the contractor or the owner?

- Yes, it will be re-used and it will be the responsibility of the contractor

7. Current utility controls are a simple switches on the wall. It is assumed that we are to add these fifteen circuits to be controlled by the PLC/HMI system. Is this correct?

8. Is battery backup power required only for the IP Camera system or for all installed systems (Door Control & Intercom)? If so, what is the run time required?

- It’s required for all systems and the run times needs to be 24 hours

9. What is the total number of controlled doors?

- 13

10. What is the total number of door control stations?

- 1

11. What is the total number of intercoms?

- 13

12. How many locations are there to control intercoms from?

- 1

13. Is it required to replace a B12 control panel?

14. If the existing doors are to be used, what are the model and serial numbers for each?

- See attached photos of the doors

15. Photos of the individual existing cameras to be removed with ceiling type.

- Ceiling type is as follows:

Control room – cinder block and drop ceiling

Inmate Hallway and Inmate Cells – Tile over steel and cinder block

Exterior of the building – Cinder block, may need poles(s)

16. A plan view layout with markings showing the layout of the new camera locations in relationship the existing cameras, to include locations of the doors to be integrated with the system.

17. Photos with dimensions of the existing rack and the control room with dimensions for the room as well. -

- Dimensions of the rack: 22 inches by 25 inches by 81 ½ inches tall

- Dimensions of Control Room: 133 sq ft
