About this file
This Scope of Work document supports Dallas Independent School District's (DISD) request for proposals seeking qualified vendors to provide International Baccalaureate (IB) professional development services, instructional materials, and implementation resources. The initiative encompasses support across four IB programme levels: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP). DISD currently operates 15 authorized IB schools with potential for expansion across the continuum. The scope of work requires vendors to demonstrate alignment with IB Programme standards and practices, maintain current accreditation from the International Baccalaureate Organization where applicable, and provide evidence of successful implementation support to educational institutions of similar size and scope. Vendors must deliver professional development training to educators, provide curriculum-aligned instructional materials, and furnish implementation resources necessary for effective programme delivery at authorized IB campuses.
The document emphasizes that vendors must submit formal responses to this competitive RFP process as mandated by the Texas Education Code (TEC), regardless of whether formal proposals are standard practice in their jurisdiction. DISD recognizes the specialized expertise of high-value vendors and has streamlined the response process to facilitate participation while maintaining legal compliance for contract award eligibility. Prospective vendors should be prepared to document their capacity to serve multiple schools simultaneously and demonstrate understanding of the specific requirements and standards established by the International Baccalaureate Organization for each programme level.
