About this file

This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements document for Broward County's Enterprise Technology Services Division related to an IT Security and Compliance Consulting Services contract. The document establishes mandatory insurance coverage that vendors must maintain throughout the contract term and for an additional three years following completion for claims-made policies.

Vendors are required to obtain General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, with Broward County named as additional insured. Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) and Technology Errors & Omissions insurance must provide $2,000,000 per claim with a $4,000,000 aggregate and a maximum deductible of $100,000. Cyber Liability coverage of $2,000,000 per claim and Crime/Employee Dishonesty coverage of $1,000,000 per claim are also required. Auto Liability coverage of $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage is required only if driving is performed during service delivery. Worker's Compensation at statutory limits and Employer's Liability coverage of $100,000 per accident are mandatory for vendors providing on-site services. All policies must be primary coverage with waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County, and the County retains the right to require Excess Liability/Umbrella coverage to supplement minimum requirements.
