About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&As) document that clarifies specifications for a federal contract opportunity involving high-performance computing equipment.
The document addresses three primary technical clarifications. Question 1 concerns compatibility issues between the H200 NVL or B300 processors and GeForce graphics cards on Windows platforms. The response confirms that two H200s can coexist on Windows, though the B300 may require a different operating system. The contractor is permitted to propose alternative OS solutions for the B300. Question 2 clarifies that the system requirement for supporting at least six display monitors using GPU capacity equivalent to an NVIDIA RTX 5090 32GB requires a dedicated GPU for display capabilities in addition to the H200NVL, as the H200 does not provide display functionality. Question 3 addresses training requirements, with the response specifying that training should focus on system installation and operation due to potentially unique configurations, explicitly excluding basic computer training from the scope. The document notes that the Statement of Work has been revised as a result of these Q&As clarifications.

Questions and Answers (Q&As)
Question 1:
There are problems with the specifications: The H200 NVL or B300 and the GeForce are not able to coexist in Windows on the same platform. The configuration could be possible with 2 (expandable to 3) RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell MaxQ Edition, maybe (to be verified) 1xH200NVL (exp. to 2) and one 6000 for the graphic capabilities. Please clarify the need.
Response to Question 1:
It is understood that two H200s can coexist in Windows on the same platform, and that this might not be possible with the B300. The contractor may propose a different OS for the B300.
Question 2:
Under the minimum requirements section, it states - "The system shall support at least (6) display monitors using GPU capacity equivalent to an NVIDIA RTX 5090 32GB or greater" Does the end user want a GPU / video card for (6) display ports in addition to the H200NVL?
Response to Question 2:
Yes, dedicated GPU display capabilities are expected and are not provided by the H200.
Question 3:
What kind of training is being sought? How to configure the system and connect to the network?
Or, how to do additive manufacturing with it?
Response to Question 3:
Any training that might be required for installing and running the system due to potentially unique configurations. Basic computer training is not necessary.
As a result of the Q&As, the Statement of Work (SOW) has been revised.
