About this file
This document provides additional questions and answers regarding solicitation number 1333ND21QNB150143 for disposal of chemical waste and emergency response services at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The solicitation seeks a contractor to pick up wastes from satellite accumulation areas on the NIST Gaithersburg site, consolidate, pack and transport wastes, and perform treatment, storage, disposal and recycling of wastes at the contractor's facilities in accordance with applicable regulations. The contractor must also provide emergency response services and other specialty services. One question clarified that the rows under CLIN 601.00 for protective clothing and equipment pricing were misaligned, and an updated pricing spreadsheet corrected this issue. A second question asked about any set-aside participation requirements, and the response stated that a small business subcontracting plan must be submitted with each proposal but there are no set-aside participation requirements, and each contractor will determine their own participation percentages.

Additional Questions and Responses to RFQ 1333ND21QNB150143 for Disposal of Chemical Waste and Emergency Response Services
Questions Answers 1 it appears the Level A, B, C, and D information is misaligned. It just causes some confusion when pricing these lines. It almost looks like you are asking for seven different rates on seven different lines, but I believe you are asking for pricing on only four different lines here.
601.00 Protective Clothing and Equipment per man
per shift
Level D: uniforms, steel toe shoes, hard-hats,.
Safety glasses, Tyvek
601.10 suits, & personal floatation devices when needed
Level C: uniforms, steel toe shoes, full-face respirators with organic vapor cartridges, coated Tyvek coveralls, PVC gloves and overshoes
601.20
Level B: uniforms, steel toe shoes, positive pressure air masks, PVC
601.30 coveralls, PVC gloves and overboots
Level A: uniforms, steel toe shoes, positive pressure air masks,
601.40 encapsulating chemical suits
Yes, the rows under 601.00 got misaligned.

2 I am writing to you to ask if you could please clarify what (if any) are the set-aside participation requirements for the Combined Synopsis Solicitation (CSS) 1333ND21QNB150143 for Disposal of Chemical Waste and Emergency Response Services?
A small business subcontracting plan is required to be submitted with each vendors proposal. The subcontracting plan should be included with the pricing section of each proposal. The subcontracting plan will not count against any page limits.
There are no set-aside participation requirements. Each contractor shall determine their own participation percentages.
