About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract 12FPC326Q0058, the Tremonton Field Office ADA Entrance Compliance Project. The document does not address specific products, services, pricing, response dates, or award information, but rather clarifies project requirements through seven question-and-answer pairs.
The project requires installation of automatic door operators on existing entrance doors to achieve ADA compliance, specifically to address difficulties in opening doors during windy conditions common in Tremonton. Key technical specifications include: door operator headers must be finished in BLACK; outside doors have 72-inch headers with 35-inch doors on each side and a 2-inch center support, while inside doors have 72-inch headers with 36-inch doors that close against each other; all four doors must open when activated by the opener mechanism; existing doors must be modified rather than replaced, with modification details contained in the Performance Work Statement; and one outside door has a keypad locking mechanism while the other outside door has a regular locking latch, and inside doors have no latches. The document confirms that no additional Government-specific requirements beyond those in the PWS and solicitation apply to the automatic door operators or installation.
