The key details are:
- The solicitation allows for the use of vinyl back insulation instead of rigid board insulation.
- Hot-dipped galvanized materials are required for the secondary structural members, as this provides the longest life.
- The Statement of Work specifies the minimum requirements for the modular or pre-engineered metal construction, including a minimum 26-gauge exterior metal and minimum size of 9' x 15' with an 8' eave height.
- This is a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation under NAICS code 236210 (Industrial Building Construction), with a size standard of $39.5M.

Questions & Answers
Q: Specs call for rigid board insulation. Rigid board doesn’t really work with PEMB framing. It should be a vinyl back insulation. Will they let you change that?
A: Yes, we will accept vinyl back insulation.
Q: Can secondary structural members be cold roll galvanized, since G90 is typical for PEMB manufactures secondary members? If hot dipped is a must the secondary framing will have to be pre-sized steel, so it does not warp during the process. This will result the building price to closely double in price and weight.
A: Hot-dipped galvanized materials for the secondary structural members. Both coatings will protect the steel from corrosion. Hot-dipped galvanized gives the longest life to the secondary structural members.
Statement of Work Rev2
7.1.1. The structure shall be of modular or per-engineered metal construction with corrosion resistant metal components, and a minimum twenty-six (26) gauge exterior metal. The minimum size structure acceptable is nine (9) feet by fifteen (15) feet. The minimum eave height is eight (8) feet. Refer to Appendix figure 12.
