About this file
This document outlines specifications for the rehabilitation of the ARS Woodward Embankment Dam in Woodward County, Oklahoma. The project involves boring and jacking a new 30-inch principal spillway pipe through the existing dam, building a new principal spillway tower, constructing a roller compacted concrete auxiliary spillway over the top of the existing dam, disposing of and filling in the existing concrete auxiliary spillway, and clearing and grubbing trees and vegetation from designated areas.
The specifications define six bid items for the work, including mobilization, de-mobilization, and construction of a temporary access road. Mobilization will also involve providing electrical and internet services to the government's field office throughout the contract period. A subsidiary item requires the contractor to furnish and install a solar-powered webcam, along with hosting services, to allow remote monitoring of construction progress. The contractor must remove all site staging areas and restore pre-existing conditions after completing the work.
