About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 12FPC126Q0048 addressing electrical services requirements.

The document clarifies key project requirements for prospective offerors. Staffing requirements specify that workers need only be on-site during active work and final inspection, not for additional post-completion days. Cat6 cable must be BABA certified as a federal infrastructure requirement. Background checks are not separately required, but contractors must comply with all RFQ requirements and applicable federal clauses including 52.222-3 Convict Labor and 52.204-9 Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel. The electrical contractor is responsible only for rough-in conduits, not for running Cat6 data cable. The project involves installing 3 power poles with 2 receptacles and 2 data ports total. No pre-quote walkthrough will be available to prospective offerors, and pricing should be developed based on the attached solicitation documents, floor plans, and other provided information rather than site visits.
