MEMORANDUM FOR RFQ 12970224Q0040

FROM USFS PPS SPOC SW

SUBJECT: RFQ 12970224Q0040 Questions & Answers

1. Question: “Are there any maps available of the trails, trailhead locations, etc?”

Answer: “Unfortunately, there were no maps submitted along with the solicitation and I do not have any that I am able to share with you right now.”

2. Question: “Also, am I understanding the SOW schedule correctly that these will be a 1 day trip, that can fall within any of the listed days? for example: where it states "Five Dollar Camp July 15- September 21" Is that one day of resupply anywhere in that time frame? Or are these weekly trips to all of these listed locations for the listed time period. I guess can the SOW trips/timeline requirements be clarified?

Answer: “You are correct, these will be one (1) day trips that may fall within the dates/locations listed. It will NOT be a weekly or weeklong trip to the listed location or the listed time period. Please remember that all planned dates subject to change due to weather, fire activity, road, or working conditions.”

3. Question: “Thank you for the clarification, one more question, with the period of performance being

7-5-24 -7-10-25 is the agency hoping to basically get all these trips knocked out in a 10 day span (that’s accounting for travel between moving trailheads) each year? Versus a more scattered schedule? I’m not sure what the trail crews schedule looks like but that would of course be the most efficient. Thank you so much”

Answer: “In accordance with Section 1.0 of the statement of work, the goal is to get this done in a total of 15 (non-consecutive) days within the period of performance of 7/10/2024 – 7/5/2025. Please reference the anticipated schedule in section 5.0 of the statement of work. Our goal is NOT to get this done in 10 or 15 consecutive days, but rather a more scattered schedule within the period of performance.”

4. Question: “It is asking to make sure that form SF-1449 would you please let me know what document that is or attach it and send it back to me please.”

Answer: “SF-1449 will be the first three pages of the document labeled “A06_0-RFQ- 12970224Q0040”. On the bottom right hand side of those pages you will see that it says “Standard Form 1449”.
