Page 3 of the SF 1449 states that the response requires a price proposal and contractor representations and certifications (item 2), however, item 3 alludes to a 3-volume submission. Please clarify the requirement for a technical volume. If a technical proposal is required, please provide the applicable evaluation factors.

A technical proposal is not required.

Please provide the evaluation criteria and basis for award. Price will be the basis for award.

Please confirm the proposal due date. The SF1449 lists 5/03/2024 and SAM lists 4/29/2024. The proposal due date is 5/3/2024.

Could you please elaborate on if the cultural services in the RFP fall under the $34MM size standards Forest Fire Suppression and Fuels Management?

The archaeological pedestrian survey work falls under the 11.5MM size standard. Below is an example of the work to be performed in this project:

Pedestrian survey is an archaeological method that involves walking over a project area to observe and record the locations of above-ground resources and features. It is used to identify and define archaeological sites and their boundaries based on the evidence of human activity on the ground surface. Pedestrian survey also helps to understand the physical and environmental aspects of the project area.

In the solicitation in the Schedule of Items on page 1 it lists the Period of Performance as Not Later than September 30, 2024, while on page 23 it says "The period of performance of this contract is from _09/30/2024_ through _09/30/2025_." Which is correct?

The period of performance (PoP) is to begin by 09/30/2024. The contractor is welcome to propose an earlier notice to proceed (NTP)/start date, but the latest PoP is from 09/30/2024 - 09/30/2025.

We would like to confirm that the period of performance will be September 30, 2024- to September 30, 2025. The Schedule of Items has wording that says” No later than September 30, 2024.” Elsewhere the wording is consistent with your email below.

The intent is to have the period of performance (PoP) begin no later than September 30, 2024- to September 30, 2025. Contractors may recommend an earlier NTP/ PoP, which would cause the dates to be shift accordingly.

Do you require a technical proposal? Or only reps&certs and a price proposal? There is no technical proposal necessary for this project, only reps and certs.
