About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number 12905B24Q0010 issued by the Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service for an upgrade gravel driveway and fire access road project in Davis, California. The solicitation seeks removal of 10 inches of existing base and dirt, scarification of 8 inches of subgrade, and addition of gravel to match existing grades. Contractors must contact Underground Service Alert to locate utilities and take precautions when excavating, as the site contains sanitary sewer, water, gas and sewer force mains. Bidders should confirm acceptance of a Class B or C-27 contractor's license. No traffic control is required as the gravel area will not require public or staff access during construction. The government will provide areas near the site for contractor laydown and storage but debris should be piled minimally and hauled off as removed.

A: Yes.
