Questions:
Question: Can the schedule of items be lumped together and spread over 12 months?
Response: After discussion with the COR, it has been determined that Line C should be included with the Snow Removal Services of Line B. The revised schedule will be posted with amendment 002.
Question: Can you change snow haul away to snow moving and stacking?
Response: Yes since the moving and stacking is more common than haul away, this line will be changed. Should haul away be required, it will be outside the scope of the contract, and handled as a separate action.
Question: Snow removal from sidewalks hasn’t been included in the previous contracts is it supposed to be included in this one?
Response: Per Laura Dunning: No, snow removal from sidewalks should not be included in the solicitation.
Question: Can you confirm you want the snow kept under three feet in height near the entrances?
Response: Per Laura Dunning: Yes, the snow piled near the entrances needs to be kept below that height for safety and visibility when pulling on to the road.
Question: Can you provide a map of the area of responsibility?
Response: A map has been provided in the solicitation, and we will tour the grounds during this site visit.
Question: Is start up and shut down of the watering system included in the solicitation?
Response: No, it is not currently included in the solicitation, however, per Laura Dunning, this service should be included in the solicitation at the beginning and end of each season.
