About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for janitorial services at the Pintler Ranger District, part of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in Philipsburg, Montana. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide year-round janitorial services for three federally owned buildings: a Main Office (approximately 5,484 square feet), a Fire Bay Restroom (19 square feet), and a 7-Bay Weight Room Restroom (117 square feet). The contract period spans from October 15, 2025, to March 31, 2029, with a base year and three option years, and is set aside for small businesses.

The procurement requires the use of biobased products that meet agency performance standards and are reasonably priced, with preference given to USDA-designated product categories. The contractor will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, including maintaining fixtures, floors, waste containers, walls, appliances, furniture, stairways, and the elevator. The solicitation includes specific performance requirements, such as maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and requires the contractor to submit daily inspection checklists. The estimated total contract value is not explicitly stated, but pricing will be evaluated on a firm-fixed-price basis with unit prices for various cleaning tasks across different buildings and seasonal variations.
