1. Base Line Item B2:

a. Are we just testing the stationary solar panels or all the articulating solar panels as well?

Just the Stationary panels

2. Base Line Item B3:

a. Can you confirm the quantity of replacement solar panels is 63?

31 panels were blown off or physically damaged, however it is our believe that a total of 63 are damaged.

3. Base Line Item B5:

a. We do not know what needs to be repaired on the inverters until we test?

Yes, inverters should be tested.

b. Should we only quote the testing of the inverters and the repair of the inverters as a change order?

Testing the inverters should be tested as a part of the scope of work but if they are damaged this is an unknown and would be covered under a modification.

4. Is it possible to add to the specs to change the horizontal support beams for those fixed panels to 20 gauge steel as opposed to the existing 24 gauge. We believe that the existing 24 gauge us not strong enough for lasting support and there is already damage to the existing.

We would not be apposed to change the horizontal support beam, but please be sure to write this in your technical proposal and add photos as an example.

5. Is it possible to add to this patch the fence details for the wind barrier to be 2 3/8 inch schedule 40 steel posts Space to 8 feet on center with a set depth of 30 inches, 8 feet tall, and nine gauge full privacy chain link fencing Again with full privacy again with full privacy link, in our experience we feel that would be the most effective wind barrier that could be provided for the current application. The specs for the fencing are very vague, and this being the best option is what we will propose. We want to make sure we don't get beat.

This would be a consideration, please put it in your technical proposal and be sure to add photos.

6. Are we expected to replace the inverters if they don’t work or are not repairable.

Testing the inverters should be tested as a part of the scope of work but if they are damaged this is an unknown and would be covered under a modification.

7. Is it possible to add to the specs to change the horizontal support beams for those fixed panels to 20 gauge steel as opposed to the existing 24 gauge.

We would not be opposed to change the horizontal support beam, but please be sure to write this in your technical proposal.
