SECTION 01 10 00
SUMMARY
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS

1.02 SUMMARY
A. This Section includes the following:
1. Work covered by the Contract Documents.
2. Type of the Contract.
3. Work phases.
4. Work under other contracts.
5. Products ordered in advance.
6. Government-furnished products.

8. Government's occupancy requirements.
9. Work restrictions.
1.03 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
A. Project Identification: Timberlake JCC Water Plant Modification
1. Project Location: Timberlake Job Corp Center 59868 East Hwy 224, Estacada OR. 97023
B. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
1.04 BASE BID AND OPTION ITEMS
A. The Work consists of the Base Bid items and Option bid items:
1. See 260010 General Technical Provisions for detailed description of Base and Option Items.
1.05 WORK PHASES
A. The Work shall be conducted in one phase.
1. Phase 1 All work awarded under base bid and any option item awarded.
Work of this phase shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 140 days after the Notice to Proceed for all bid items.
1.06 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PRODUCTS
A. The Government will furnish products and equipment indicated. The Work includes modifying existing Government equipment and making plumbing, mechanical, and electrical modifications and connections.

1. The Government will arrange for and deliver Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples to Contractor.
2. After delivery, The Government will inspect delivered items for damage.
Contractor shall be present for and assist in Government's inspection.
3. If Government-furnished items are damaged, defective, or missing, The Government will arrange for replacement.
4. The Government will furnish Contractor the earliest possible delivery date for Government-furnished products. Using Government-furnished earliest possible delivery dates, Contractor shall designate delivery dates of Government-furnished items in Contractor's Construction Schedule.
5. Contractor shall review Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples and return them to the Government noting discrepancies or anticipated problems in use of product.
6. All equipment for this project is existing for modifications.
7. Contractor is responsible for protecting Government-furnished items from damage during storage and handling, including damage from exposure to the elements.
8. If Government-furnished items are damaged as a result of Contractor's operations, Contractor shall repair or replace them.
9. Contractor shall install and otherwise incorporate Government-furnished items into the Work.
B. Government-Furnished Products (GFP):
1. Water treatment plant building, including all existing mechanical, electrical equipment and piping.
2. Existing filter plant control panel CP-1 & O&M manuals for modification
3. Existing well control panel CP-2 & O&M manuals for modification
4. Exiting Turbidity monitor for modification
5. Existing water meter for replacement
6. Existing air compressor for modifications.
7. Existing water tank including all floats and conduits for modifications.
8. A portable toilet facility will be available upon request.
1.07 USE OF PREMISES
A. General: Contractor shall have full use of premises for construction operations, including use of Project site, during construction period. Contractor's use of premises is limited only by The Government's right to perform work or to retain other contractors on portions of Project.
1. General: Contractor shall have limited use of premises for construction operations as indicated on Drawings by the Contract limits.
B. Use of Site: Limit use of premises to areas within the Contract limits indicated.
Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated.
10/30/2017 Timberlake JCC Water Plant Modification 01 10 00 - 3/4 Summary
1. Limits: Confine construction operations to water plant building and water tank.
a. Limit site disturbance, including earthwork and clearing of vegetation, to 40 feet (12.2 m) beyond building perimeter; 10 feet (3 m) beyond surface walkways, patios, surface parking, and utilities less than 12 inches (300 mm) in diameter; 15 feet (4.5 m) beyond primary roadway curbs and main utility branch trenches; and 25 feet (7.6 m) beyond constructed areas with permeable surfaces (such as pervious paving areas, storm water detention facilities, and playing fields) that require additional staging areas in order to limit compaction in the constructed area.
2. Government Occupancy: Allow for Government occupancy of Project site at all times.
C. Use of Existing Building: Maintain existing building in a weathertight condition throughout construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations. Protect building and its occupants during construction period.
1.08 GOVERNMENT'S OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
A. Full Government Occupancy: Government will occupy site during entire construction period. Cooperate with the Government during construction operations to minimize conflicts and facilitate Government usage. Perform the Work so as not to interfere with the Government's day-to-day operations.
Maintain existing exits, unless otherwise indicated.
1. Maintain access to existing walkways, corridors, and other adjacent occupied or used facilities. Do not close or obstruct walkways, corridors, or other occupied or used facilities without written permission from Government and authorities having jurisdiction.
B. Government Occupancy of Completed Areas of Construction: Government reserves the right to occupy and to place and install equipment in completed areas of building, before Substantial Completion, provided such occupancy does not interfere with completion of the Work. Such placement of equipment and partial occupancy shall not constitute acceptance of the total Work.
1. The Government requires continuous access to the water plant building during construction for water system daily operation. Coordinate with water plant operator for work to be done and for shut down periods of water system.
2. Before partial Government occupancy, mechanical and electrical systems shall be fully operational, and required tests and inspections shall be successfully completed. On occupancy, Government will operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems serving occupied portions of building.
3. On occupancy, Government will assume responsibility for maintenance and custodial service for occupied portions of building.
10/30/2017 Timberlake JCC Water Plant Modification 01 10 00 - 4/4 Summary
1.09 WORK RESTRICTIONS
A. On-Site Work Hours: Work shall be generally performed inside the existing building during normal business working hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except otherwise indicated.
1. Weekend Hours: Other hours will be approved in advanced by COR.
2. Early Morning Hours: No restriction on early morning hours.
3. Hours for Utility Shutdowns: Water system operation may be shut down for a maximum of 8 hours during a 24 hour period. Provide 72 hours’ notice of system shutdown to Government.
4. Well pump control system CP-1, filter pump control panel CP-1 and associated piping are required to be operational during entire construction period, other than during shut down periods in an automatic mode.
B. Existing Utility Interruptions: Do not interrupt utilities serving facilities occupied by Government or others unless permitted under the following conditions and then only after arranging to provide temporary utility services according to requirements indicated:
1. Notify Government not less than 72 hours in advance of proposed utility interruptions.
2. Do not proceed with utility interruptions without Government's written permission.
C. Nonsmoking Building: Smoking is not permitted within the building or within
50 feet (16 m) of entrances, operable windows, or outdoor air intakes.

SECTION 01 33 00
SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES
1. GENERAL
1.01 GENERAL
1.02 SUMMARY
A. This Section includes administrative and procedural requirements for submitting
Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, and other submittals.
B. Government approval is required for design, critical materials, deviations, equipment whose compatibility with the entire system must be checked, items listed in construction documents requiring submittal and other items as designated by the Contracting Officer.
C. Government approval is required for any deviations from the Solicitation or Accepted Proposal and other items as designated by the Contracting Officer.
1.03 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and
Supplementary Conditions and other Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
B. Related Sections include the following:
1. Division 01 Section "Closeout Procedures" for submitting warranties.
2. Division 01 Section "Project Record Documents" for submitting Record
Drawings, Record Specifications, and Record Product Data.
3. Division 01 Section "Operation and Maintenance Data" for submitting operation and maintenance manuals.
4. Division 01 Section "Demonstration and Training" for submitting videotapes of demonstration of equipment and training of Owner's personnel.

1.04 DEFINITIONS
A. Action Submittals: Written and graphic information that requires Contracting Officer responsive action.
1.05 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES
A. The Contracting Officer may request submittals in addition to those specified when deemed necessary to adequately describe the work covered in the respective sections.
B. General:
1. Submit only electronic copies PDF, DWG, DOC, XLS and other formats for all submittals as required by each section. Hard copy submittals will not be required. See each section for detailed formats required.

2. Units of weights and measures used on all submittals are to be the same as those used in the contract drawings.
3. Electronic copies of CAD Drawings of the Contract Drawings will be provided by Contracting Officer for Contractor's use in preparing submittals & final record drawings if Bid Option 6 is awarded.
C. Coordination: Coordinate preparation and processing of submittals with performance of construction activities.
1. Coordinate each submittal with fabrication, purchasing, testing, delivery, other submittals, and related activities that require sequential activity.
2. Coordinate transmittal of different types of submittals for related parts of the
Work so processing will not be delayed because of need to review submittals concurrently for coordination.
a. Contracting Officer reserves the right to withhold action on a submittal requiring coordination with other submittals until related submittals are received.
D. Organize and submit complete information into separate submittals for each Specification Section listed in Table of Contents, except as follows:
1. One consolidated Division submittal for Sections in the following Divisions:
a. Division 22
b. Division 26.
E. Submittal schedule: Submit all equipment and materials within 30 days after Notice to Proceed.
F. Government review and approval spreadsheet.
1. The Government will revi ew and approval all material and equipment in an
Excel spreadsheet with notes for acceptance, resubmittals, rejection and additional notes for review.
2. This review spreadsheet will be the sole approval document returned to the contractor indicating review and approval status. Individual material and equipment cut sheets will not be marked up and returned.
G. Processing Time: Allow enough time for submittal review, including time for resubmittals, as follows. Time for review shall commence on Contracting Officer’s receipt of submittal. No extension of the Contract Time will be authorized because of failure to transmit submittals enough in advance of the Work to permit processing, including resubmittals.
1. Initial Review: Allow 10 business days for initial review of each submittal.
Allow additional time if coordination with subsequent submittals is required.
Contracting Officer will advise Contractor when a submittal being processed must be delayed for coordination.
2. Intermediate Review: If intermediate submittal is necessary, process it in same manner as initial submittal.
3. Resubmittal Review: Allow 10 business days for review of each resubmittal.
H. Identification: Place a permanent label or title block on each submittal for identification.

1. Indicate name of firm or entity that prepared each submittal on label or title block.
2. Include the following information on label for processing and recording action taken:
a. Project name.
b. Date.
c. Name and address of Contractor.
d. Name and address of subcontractor.
e. Name and address of supplier.
f. Name of manufacturer.
g. Submittal number or other unique identifier, including revision identifier:
h. Number and title of appropriate Specification Section and paragraph number.
i. Drawing number and detail references, as appropriate.
j. Location(s) where product is to be installed, as appropriate.
k. Other necessary identification.
I. Deviations: Highlight, encircle or otherwise specifically identify deviations from the Contract Documents on submittals. Include justification for the deviation.
Deviations will not be reviewed until Contracting Officer approves justification.
J. Additional Copies: Unless additional copies are required for final submittal, and unless Contracting Officer observes noncompliance with provisions in the Contract Documents, initial submittal may serve as final submittal.
1. Submit one electronic copy only of submittal to concurrent reviewer in addition to specified number of copies to Contracting Officer.
2. Additional copies submitted for maintenance manuals will not be marked with action taken and will be returned.
3. See each section of required final submittals required such as approved products and O&M manuals.
K. Transmittal: Package each submittal individually and appropriately for transmittal and handling. Transmit each submittal using a transmittal form. Contracting Officer will discard submittals received from sources other than Contractor.
1. Transmittal Form: Contractor may use an AIA Document, CSI Form or custom form. Include the following information:
a. Project name.
b. Date.
c. Destination (To:).
d. Source (From:).
e. Names of subcontractor, manufacturer, and supplier.
f. Category and type of submittal.
g. Specification Section number and title.
h. Drawing number and detail references, as appropriate.
i. Transmittal number.
j. Submittal and transmittal distribution record.
k. Remarks.
l. Signature of transmitter.

2. Include in transmittal a record of relevant information, requests for data, revisions of previous submittals, and deviations from requirements in the Contract Documents, including minor variations and limitations. Include same label information as related submittal.
L. Resubmittals: Make resubmittals in same form and number of copies as initial submittal.
1. Note date and content of previous submittal.
2. Note date and content of revision in label or title block and clearly indicate extent of revision.
3. Resubmit submittals until they are approved.
M. Use for Construction: Use only submittals with mark or approval in review spreadsheet indicating approval for use by Government’s reviewers and marked “approved for use”.
1.06 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PROJECT CAD FILES
A. General: At Contractor's written request, copies of project AutoCAD files will be provided to Contractor for Contractor's use in connection with Project, subject to the following conditions:
1. AutoCAD file updated for project record drawings are required only if Bid
Option 6 is awarded for final record drawings.
2. PRODUCTS
2.01 ACTION SUBMITTALS
A. General: Prepare and submit Action Submittals required by individual Specification Sections.
1. All submittals are to be provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format in electronic format, or other formats as specified by each division.
2. Submit electronic submittals directly to Cloud Vault Web site established for
Project.
3. Hard copy submittals are Not Required for this project in addition to electronic submittal files.
B. Refer to each division and specification for products or materials requiring submittal.
C. Product Data: Collect information into a single submittal for each element of construction and type of product or equipment.
1. Provide manufacturer original PDF data for all equipment and materials scanned copies will not be accepted. Use PDF markup tools to indicate specific equipment to be supplied and all identification such as specification reference numbers and other required data and application notes if any.
2. If information must be specially prepared for submittal because standard printed data are not suitable for use, submit as Shop Drawings, not as Product Data.
3. Mark each copy of each submittal to show which products and options are applicable.

4. Mark on each sheet the specification number of the item submitted.
5. Include the following information, as applicable:
a. Specific catalog number to be supplied.
b. Manufacturer's written recommendations.
c. Manufacturer's product specifications.
d. Manufacturer's installation instructions.
e. Manufacturer's catalog cuts.
f. Wiring diagrams showing factory-installed wiring.
g. Printed performance curves.
h. Operational range diagrams.
i. Compliance with specified referenced standards.
j. Testing by recognized testing agency.
k. Application of testing agency labels and seals.
l. Notation of coordination requirements.
6. Number of Copies: If only electronic submittal data is required, no hard copies will be required.
a. Submit one electronic copies of Product Data, unless otherwise indicated.
Contracting Officer will return a review spreadsheet with comments for each item submitted for product approval. Mark up and retain one returned copy as a Project Record Document.
b. On electronic submittals in PDF format, use a PDF markup tool to identify specific items on each submittal with the specific items identified and any applicable notation.
7. Submittal Markup Notation
a. The government may elect to review the submittal and return a spreadsheet that covers multiple submittals in lieu of marking each submittal document.
b. If the review indicates that the material, equipment or work method is in general conformance with the Plans/Specifications, the submittals copies will be marked "No Exceptions Taken". In this case, the Contractor may begin to incorporate the material/equipment/work method covered in the submittals.
c. If the review indicates that the submittals are insufficient or that limited corrections are required, the submittals copies will be marked "Make Corrections Noted". In this case, the Contractor may begin to incorporate the material/equipment/work method covered in the submittals in accordance with the corrections/comments noted.
d. If the review reveals the submittals is insufficient or contains incorrect data and the comments require revision and re-submittal, the submittals copies will be marked "Revise and Resubmit". D. Contracting Officer reserves the right to require submittals in addition to those called for in individual sections.
3. EXECUTION
3.01 CONTRACTOR'S REVIEW
A. Review each submittal and check for coordination with other Work of the Contract and for compliance with the Contract Documents. Note corrections and field dimensions. Mark with approval stamp before submitting to Contracting Officer.
B. Approval Stamp: Stamp each submittal with a uniform, approval stamp. Include Project name and location, submittal number, Specification Section title and number, name of reviewer, date of Contractor's approval, and statement certifying that submittal has been reviewed, checked, and approved for compliance with the Contract Documents.
1. Contractor’s review indicates that Contractor has thoroughly reviewed the submittal and certifies that it is complete, correct, in compliance with the Contract Documents, and suitable for the Project.
2. Review represents that field measurements and field conditions have been considered and that the work submitted will perform as intended.
3. Contracting Officer will not review submittals that do not include Contractor's signed review stamp, do not include required field conditions, or are not accurate.
4. Include written description and graphic demarcation of deviations from requirements of Contract Documents.
5. All work done prior to approval of submittals shall be at the Contractor’s risk.
3.02 CONTRACTING OFFICER / ACTION
A. General: Contracting Officer will not review submittals that do not bear Contractor's approval stamp and will return them without action.
B. Action Submittals: Contracting Officer will review each submittal, make marks to indicate corrections or modifications required, and return it. Contracting Officer will stamp each submittal with an action stamp and will mark stamp appropriately to indicate action taken. Submittal review may be done with a review list or spreadsheet indicating approval, without stamping each individual submittal.

1.04 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION
A. Preliminary Procedures: Before requesting inspection for determining date of Substantial Completion, complete the following. List items below that are incomplete in request.
1. Prepare a list of items to be completed and corrected (punch list), the value of items on the list, and reasons why the Work is not complete.
2. Submit specific warranties, workmanship bonds, maintenance service agreements, final certifications, and similar documents.
3. Provide final electrical inspection approval form from the local AHJ as per
260010.
4. Prepare and submit Project Record Documents, operation and maintenance manuals, Final Completion construction, and similar final record information.

6. Complete startup testing of systems, all logic testing, calibration of all systems and demonstration to Contracting officer that all modifications and changes are functioning correctly. See Division 26 for all required items.
7. Provide all operator training as required in Division 26.
8. Submit test/adjust/balance records and reports required by each section of specifications.
9. Terminate and remove temporary facilities from Project site, along with, construction tools, and similar elements.
10. Complete final cleaning requirements, including touchup painting.
11. Touch up and otherwise repair and restore marred exposed finishes to eliminate visual defects.
B. Inspection: Submit a written request for inspection for Substantial Completion. On receipt of request, contracting officer will either proceed with inspection or notify Contractor of unfulfilled requirements.
1. Reinspection: Request reinspection when the Work identified in previous inspections as incomplete is completed or corrected.
2. Results of completed inspection will form the basis of requirements for Final
Completion.
1.05 FINAL COMPLETION
A. Preliminary Procedures: Before requesting final inspection for determining date of Final Completion, complete the following:
1. Instruct Owner's personnel in operation, adjustment, and maintenance of products, equipment, and systems. See Division 26 for required training.
2. Deliver all approved final O&M manuals and record documents in both hard copy and electronic format.
3. Deliver all required spare parts in original containers, marked with specification number.
B. Inspection: Submit a written request for final inspection for acceptance. On receipt of request, Contracting Officer will either proceed with inspection or notify Contractor of unfulfilled requirements.
1. Re-inspection: Request re-inspection when the Work identified in previous inspections as incomplete is completed or corrected.
1.06 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS
A. Submit completed corrected O&M manuals in both electronic form as required by each section and two hard copies in binders with indexes by section.

1.07 WARRANTIES
A. Submittal Time: Submit written warranties on request of Contracting Officer for designated portions of the Work where commencement of warranties other than date of Substantial Completion is indicated.
B. Provide additional copies of each warranty to include in operation and maintenance manuals.
2. PRODUCTS
2.01 MATERIALS
A. Cleaning Agents: Use cleaning materials and agents recommended by manufacturer or fabricator of the surface to be cleaned. Do not use cleaning agents that are potentially hazardous to health or property or that might damage finished surfaces.
B. Clean out any debris from all enclosures building and at water tank. Vacuum out all enclosures.
3. EXECUTION
3.01 FINAL CLEANING
A. General: Provide final cleaning. Conduct cleaning and waste-removal operations to comply with local laws and ordinances and Federal and local environmental and antipollution regulations.
B. Cleaning: Employ experienced workers or professional cleaners for final cleaning.
Clean each surface or unit to condition expected in an average commercial building cleaning and maintenance program. Comply with manufacturer's written instructions.
1. Complete the following cleaning operations before requesting inspection for certification of Substantial Completion for entire Project or for a portion of Project:
a. Clean Project site, yard, and grounds, in areas disturbed by construction activities, including landscape development areas, of rubbish, waste material, litter, and other foreign substances.
b. Remove tools, construction equipment, machinery, and surplus material from Project site.
c. Vacuum enclosures, removing debris.
d. Touch up and otherwise repair and restore marred, exposed finishes and surfaces. Replace finishes and surfaces that cannot be satisfactorily repaired or restored or that already show evidence of repair or restoration.
i. Do not paint over "UL" and similar labels, including mechanical and electrical nameplates.
e. Leave Project clean and ready for occupancy.
C. Comply with safety standards for cleaning. Do not burn waste materials. Do not bury debris or excess materials on Owner's property. Do not discharge volatile, harmful, or dangerous materials into drainage systems. Remove waste materials from Project site and dispose of lawfully.

A. Initial Submittal: Submit [1] draft hard copies of each manual and one electronic copy at least 20 days before requesting inspection for Substantial Completion.
Include a complete operation and maintenance directory. Contracting Officer will return one copy marked up in electronic format and written comments of draft and mark whether general scope and content of manual are acceptable.
B. Final Submittal: Submit two copies of each manual in final hard copy and on CD- ROM with all electronic files at least 15 days before final inspection. Contracting Officer will return copy with comments within 15 days after final inspection.

1. Correct or modify each manual to comply with Contracting Officer's comments.

1. For equipment or component parts of equipment put into service during construction with Government's permission, submit documents within 10 days after acceptance.
2. Make other submittals within 10 days after Date of Substantial Completion, prior to final Application for Payment.
3. Items of Work for which acceptance is delayed beyond Date of Substantial Completion, submit within 10 days after acceptance, listing the date of acceptance as the beginning of the warranty period.
2. PRODUCTS
2.01 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE DOCUMENTATION DIRECTORY
A. Refer to each section of specifications Div 2- 26 for required data and formats to be included in operations and maintenance manuals. Both hard copy and electronic copies are required.
B. Provide all approved equipment submittal data in both electronic PDF and hard copy format, or other formats as required by each section. Provide a CD-ROM with all electronic O&M manuals data for each hard copy manual. The intent is to be able to totally reproduce the manuals from the electronic files.
C. Organization: Include a section in the directory for each of the following:
1. List of Systems and Subsystems: List systems alphabetically. Include references to operation and maintenance manuals that contain information about each system.
2. List of Equipment: List equipment for each system, organized alphabetically by system. For pieces of equipment not part of system, list alphabetically in separate list.
3. Tables of Contents: Include a table of contents for each emergency, operation, and maintenance manual.
4. Identification: In the documentation directory and in each operation and maintenance manual, identify each system, subsystem, and piece of equipment with same designation used in the Contract Documents.
2.02 MANUALS, GENERAL
A. Organization: Unless otherwise indicated, organize each manual into a separate section for each system and subsystem, and a separate section for each piece of equipment not part of a system. Each manual shall contain the following materials, in the order listed:
1. Title Page: Enclose title page in transparent plastic sleeve. Include the following information:
a. Subject matter included in manual.
b. Name and address of Project.

d. Name, address, and telephone number of Contractor.

2. Table of Contents: List each product included in manual, identified by product name, indexed to the content of the volume, and cross-referenced to Specification Section number in Project Manual.
a. If operation or maintenance documentation requires more than one volume to accommodate data, include comprehensive table of contents for all volumes in each volume of the set.
3. Manual Contents: Organize into sets of manageable size. Arrange contents alphabetically by system, subsystem, and equipment. If possible, assemble instructions for subsystems, equipment, and components of one system into a single binder.
a. Binders: Heavy-duty, 3-ring, vinyl-covered, loose-leaf binders, in thickness necessary to accommodate contents, sized to hold 8½-by-11-inch paper; with clear plastic sleeve on spine to hold label describing contents and with pockets inside covers to hold folded oversize sheets.
i. If two or more binders are necessary to accommodate data of a system, organize data in each binder into groupings by subsystem and related components. Cross-reference other binders if necessary to provide essential information for proper operation or maintenance of equipment or system.
ii. Identify each binder on front and spine, with printed title "OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL," Project title or name, and subject matter of contents, contract number and date.
Indicate volume number for multiple-volume sets.
b. Dividers: Heavy-paper dividers with plastic-covered tabs for each section. Mark each tab to indicate contents. Include typed list of products and major components of equipment included in the section on each divider, cross-referenced to Specification Section number and title of Project Manual.
c. Protective Plastic Sleeves: Transparent plastic sleeves designed to enclose diagnostic software diskettes for computerized electronic equipment.
d. Supplementary Text: Prepared on 8½-by-11-inch (215-by-280-mm) white bond paper.
e. Drawings: Attach reinforced, punched binder tabs on drawings and bind with text.
i. Provide hard copy marked up from construction drawings record as-built drawings in 24”x36” original marked up drawings.
ii. Base bid: Submit marked up full size 24”x36” project drawings marked “updated to as-built”.
iii. Submit as-built AutoCAD drawings files and hard copy prints if
Bid Option 6 is awarded for updating project AutoCAD files and 11”x17” prints from these AutoCAD files.

iv. If oversize drawings are necessary, fold drawings to same size as text pages and use as foldouts.

B. Electronic File Formats
1. All electronic files shall be organized on CD-ROM by subdirectory to keep major equipment and materials grouped together that are inter related. Directory names shall describe contents.
2. File formats shall include all native formats for each items and also in PDF format. All custom written instructions that are project specific shall be in MS- Word format 2013 or newer and also in PDF format.

Content: For each system, subsystem, and piece of equipment not part of a system, include source information, manufacturers' maintenance documentation, maintenance procedures, maintenance and service schedules, spare parts list and source information, maintenance service contracts, and warranty and bond information, as described below.
B. Source Information: List each system, subsystem, and piece of equipment included in manual, identified by product name and arranged to match manual's table of contents.
For each product, list name, address, and telephone number of Installer or supplier and maintenance service agent, and cross-reference Specification Section number and title in Project Manual.
C. Manufacturers' Maintenance Documentation: Manufacturers' maintenance documentation including the following information for each component part or piece of equipment:
1. Standard printed maintenance instructions and bulletins.
2. Drawings, diagrams, and instructions required for maintenance, including disassembly and component removal, replacement, and assembly.
3. Identification and nomenclature of parts and components.
4. List of items recommended to be stocked as spare parts.

A. Operation and Maintenance Documentation Directory: Prepare a separate manual that provides an organized reference to operation, and maintenance manuals.
B. Product Maintenance Manual: Assemble a complete set of maintenance data indicating care and maintenance of each product, material, and finish incorporated into the Work.
C. Operation and Maintenance Manuals: Assemble a complete set of operation and maintenance data indicating operation and maintenance of each system, subsystem, and piece of equipment not part of a system.
1. Prepare a separate manual for each system and subsystem, in the form of an instructional manual for use by Government's operating personnel.
D. Manufacturers' Data: Where manuals contain manufacturers' standard printed data, include only sheets pertinent to product or component installed. Mark each sheet to identify each product or component incorporated into the Work. If data include more than one item in a tabular format, identify each item using appropriate references from the Contract Documents. Identify data applicable to the Work and delete references to information not applicable.
1. Prepare supplementary text if manufacturers' standard printed data are not available and where the information is necessary for proper operation and maintenance of equipment or systems.
E. Drawings: Prepare drawings supplementing manufacturers' printed data to illustrate the relationship of component parts of equipment and systems and to illustrate control sequence and flow diagrams. Coordinate these drawings with information contained in Record Drawings to ensure correct illustration of completed installation.
1. Do not use original Project Record Documents as part of operation and maintenance manuals.
