Statement of Work (SOW) April 24, 2024

Project: 480-Volt Line Replacement

Location: Biosciences Research Laboratory, 1616 Albrecht Blvd N, Fargo, ND 58102

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Statement of Work: USDA-ARS in Fargo, ND, requires a reroute of the 480Volt line from the existing secondary circuit breaker around the inside of building two, through the parking lot and tied back into the existing 480-volt panel board located on the outside west wall of building 1.

2.0 Background: The existing line runs through our generator that is scheduled to be removed under a separate contract. In addition, it runs through the parking lot in close proximity to steam tunnels and an underground fuel storage tank that will be excavated and removed under a separate contract. The intent is to relocate this 480-volt line before excavation occurs.

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

• Demolish and rebuild the 480-volt line in accordance with the attached drawings.

Trenching detail Patch Paving, re-sodding, back-filling Pavement Detail o Sheet E501 Power Riser Diagram

• Ensure that minimal amount of down-time is maintained. A 7-day written notification is required with an estimate of total down-time needed.

• Remove all conduit and conductors for generator and ATS controls and accessories complete back to source within building 2.

• Existing underground ducts and conduits may require hand digging to locate. Provide as-built drawings of all found utilities and final routing of new conduits.

• Provide patch paving and grass re-sodding to restore construction area to near existing conditions.

4.0 Deliverable / Schedule:

• Provide as-built drawings of the new line route. Add existing utilities as noted during trenching and installation.

• Period of performance: 60 days after award.

5.0 Government Furnished: Not Applicable.

6.0 Travel: Not Applicable.

7.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel: Point of contact’s name and phone number is required.

Minimum of one licensed journeyman must be on site at all times.

8.0 Security Requirements: Not Applicable.

9.0 Data Rights: Not Applicable.

10.0 Section 508 – Electronic and Information Technology Standards: Not Applicable.

11.0 Performance Requirement Measures: Items will be inspected before payment will be rendered.
