Industry Questions and Answers – Amendment 0002

Q1: Solicitation document, section “Instructions for the preparation of offers,” items 5.

Technical Proposal and 6. Qualifications state that we can only show projects/CPARS that have “contracts awarded within the past 5 years.” Will you accept projects that the work has been performed within the past 5 years even if the contract award date is more than 5 years old?

A1: For evaluation purposes contracts with a period of performance that is performed within the past 5 years, are allowed to be submitted for this requirement. Again, this is a best value FAR 13 tradeoff procurement, so it is theoretical that offerors with more recent experience “contracts awarded within the past 5 years”, as stated in the clear language of the submission documents, could be evaluated higher.
