Questions and Answers incorporated into this solicitation.

1. Please confirm the required T-post length, size, spacing, and minimum embedment depth.

- 10 ft T-post spaced 10 feet apart and embedded 2 feet See fent detail

2. Please confirm the required 8-foot game fence specifications, including wire gauge, mesh opening size, and galvanization/coating requirements. The drawing identifies an 8-foot game fence but does not provide these details.

3. Please clarify the buried animal fence details, including material, gauge, mesh size, depth, horizontal width, and how it should be connected to the vertical fence.

4. What type of corner, end, and gate posts are required, including bracing and concrete footing requirements?

5. Are we required to remove and replace each section of existing fence on the same day to maintain the quarantine/biosecurity perimeter? If not, is temporary fencing required?

6. Are there any special biosecurity requirements for workers, vehicles, tools, and equipment entering or leaving the facility?

7. Please confirm the number, dimensions, type, and specifications of all replacement gates, including posts, hinges, latches, locks, and other hardware.

8. Please confirm whether the approximately 3,500 LF of fencing is an estimated quantity or the actual quantity. Is the contractor responsible for field verification?

- Contractor is responsible for removing the old fence, t-post, concrete, gates, and related materials.

12. Are there known underground utilities, drainage crossings, ditches, or other site conditions that may affect fence installation?

- No

13. What are the permitted working hours and days, and is weekend work allowed?

- Working hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm

14. Will USDA provide a designated staging/storage area, and can equipment and materials remain onsite overnight?
