About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 127EAX26Q0013 regarding bridge inspection and assessment services at Prescott National Forest. The document provides clarification on two key matters: Standard Form 330 is optional rather than required for proposal submission, though offerors must ensure their qualifications are clearly communicated in their offers; and the period of performance dates of April 3, 2026 through July 2, 2026 are tentative planning dates subject to finalization with the Contracting Officer Representative upon award selection, with work expected to commence shortly after contract award.

The underlying solicitation requires contractors to perform safety inspections on three bridges in accordance with the March 2022 Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory and all referenced standards, and to complete load ratings per AASHTO's Manual for Bridge Evaluation, 3rd edition, 2018. Questions must be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Blaine Greenwalt at blaine.greenwalt@usda.gov no later than March 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time. Proposals are due by the date and time specified in Block 8 of the solicitation and should be submitted to the same email address, with the solicitation number included in the document filename.
