About this file
This document is Amendment 0007 to a federal contract opportunity for the Renovation of the Marshall Gulch Picnic Area on the Coronado National Forest. The amendment provides additional notes that have been added to Attachment 0008, specifically related to prestressed concrete member tolerances, post-tensioning installation procedures, and PVC sleeve blockout details. The original solicitation, 127EAX24R0009, is a pre-solicitation notice for the renovation project, which has a NAICS code of 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction) and a size standard of $45M. The government intends to award one contract as a result of this total small business set-aside solicitation, which will be based on a performance price trade-off. The magnitude of the proposed construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and the estimated proposal due date is April 25, 2024.

If applicable, this has to do with the post-tensioning. The contractor has to submit post-tensioning installation procedures. See sheets 35 & 36.

The PVC sleeve blockout at the ends is 5" in diameter -see Sheet 31. Wth the PVC and the central strands centered, there should be a 0.5" clearance between the ends of the PVC sleeve and the "9" strands. If the 5" dia. PVC still conflicts with the central strands, prioritize the location of the strands and slightly adjust the location/size of the PVC sleeve blockout.
