REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) OFFICIAL RESPONSES

127EAW22R0005 - Blue Jay Campground Toilets

RFI responses will be responded to as necessary in amendment format which will be posted to the solicitation via beta.SAM.gov

Telephone requests for information will not be accepted or returned.

RFI #1 – For clarification purposes is the contractor to price the remediation of contaminated soil prior to results of a soils report? If so for the purpose of bidding please provide a quantity of soil that is to be removed.

USFS Response – Yes. Exact quantity of contaminated soil cannot be determined until material is exposed and identified. This will be determined after existing building is removed. All testing and abatement will be Contractors responsibility as part of this project if that option item is awarded. For bidding purposes use 10 cubic yards. The option item 2 will be awarded if it is determined there is contaminated soil present.
