About this file
This document contains responses to a Request for Information related to a federal contract solicitation. It involves asphalt and concrete work with a project value between $1 million and $2 million, and has been set aside solely for small businesses. The response clarifies that subgrade compaction for asphalt areas should follow the specifications in the project plans requiring 12 inches of compacted subgrade at 90% relative compaction, rather than the 95% compaction over 24 inches stated in the specifications. Requests for information were required to be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing by May 12, 2021.
