About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) seeking to provide funding to hire up to six Fisheries Specialists through December 31st, 2025. The RFP is open from November 10, 2024, to November 25, 2024, and all proposals must be sealed and submitted by 4:00 PM CST on the closing date. The Iowa DNR will provide the structure of a Fisheries Program within which the selected contractor and Fisheries Specialists will assist in achieving the DNR's mission.
The RFP does not specify any pricing terms or set-asides. It notes that the funding for this project is dependent on availability and that the successful contractor will help the DNR achieve its goals of providing Iowans with the best fishing possible by managing for a healthy ecosystem. The RFP also provides instructions for respondents, including how to request confidential treatment of information and how to submit proposals.
