The acquisition is for a 1000-watt pulse laser cleaning system to be delivered complete within 30 days of order receipt, with onsite operator training for up to four USDA personnel required at the time of delivery at the Fort Myers location in a single training session. Key technical specifications established include: 1000-watt minimum pulse energy, pulse width up to 35 kilohertz, eight different scan patterns, liquid cooling method, 100 percent duty cycle capability over an eight-hour day, and two-year warranty duration. Foreign-manufactured components are eligible for consideration subject to Buy American provisions under FAR 52.225-1, with quoters responsible for determining country-of-origin analysis methodology. The quote deadline is September 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, and this is a new contract with no incumbent contractor.
