About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation 12639526Q0034 for janitorial services.

The contract requires routine janitorial cleaning services performed twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays during business hours at a USDA facility. The approximately 600 square feet garage/storage space is excluded from the cleaning scope. When a scheduled service day coincides with a federal holiday, contractors may skip that visit without rescheduling. Cleaning staff should preferably start after 9:00 AM and end before 3:00 PM to minimize disruption to field staff, though this is not mandatory. The facility contains 4 paper towel dispensers in bathrooms, 5 soap dispensers across restrooms, and 6 toilet paper holders; additionally, paper towels should be laid out without dispensers in the kitchen and gym bathroom. Windows reach heights of 11-12 feet. The facility provides equipment storage in a closet and shelving unit. No uniform requirements apply. Contractor personnel do not require an active USDA LincPass before contract start; a grace period will be provided for credential processing, during which cleaning staff must ring the doorbell for access from building employees. A site visit is not required.

Pricing will be evaluated on the total contract value encompassing the base year plus four option years. No maximum contract value ceiling or current contract amount has been disclosed. The contract structure consists of a base year with four option years, and no specific response deadline or award date is mentioned in this Q&A document.
