About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for Solicitation 12639526Q0013 for Occupational Prescription Safety Eyewear, with Amendment 0001 issued. The solicitation involves providing prescription safety eyewear services for NCAH employees, with specific requirements including on-site Optician services. Employees will submit their own prescriptions from personal licensed ophthalmologists or optometrists, which will be used to create their prescription safety lenses.

The Q&A clarifies two key points: first, a line item for Miscellaneous Frames, Lenses, Coatings, and Accessories (line item 0014) has been removed via Solicitation Amendment 0002, and second, the solicitation requires more than just providing safety eyewear. Potential vendors are directed to the Statement of Work for detailed task requirements, with an emphasis on on-site optician services and using employee-provided prescriptions for creating safety eyewear.
