Questions and Answers
1. Shed Requirements:
0. How many doors and windows are required for the shed? No doors or windows required (3 sided lean-to style hay barn/garage/shed)
0. Should the main door for skid steer or tractor entry be at least 12' high? If so, how wide should it be? The main “open side” should be higher than 12’ to accommodate tractors/skid steer lifts to move hay in and out of the barn.
0. Is the hay shed to be stick frame construction, post frame or steel framed? We don’t have a preference.
1. Floor Specifications:
1. Does the shed require a concrete slab floor, or is a dirt or gravel floor sufficient? The floor is sufficient to have an improved dirt/gravel floor, no concrete slab required.
1. Electrical Requirements:
2. Are we required to install any lights or connect electricity to the shed? I would plan to have some over-head lighting installed in the barn and there is electricity close by to access or split to provide electricity to the barn.
1. Shed Location:
3. Could you please provide the designated location for the shed? A drawing on Google Maps or the specific location coordinates would be helpful for planning material and equipment transportation. (45.114893, -110.790203)
