1. Operations:

o Current manuals. Maintenance , parts, and overhaul when applicable.

o Current Airworthiness directive and service bulletin subscriptions.

o Current FARs concerning aircraft maintenance.

o Inspection and maintenance tracking procedures.

o Parts tracking procedures for new, serviceable and life limited parts.

o Tool calibration tracking procedures.

o Procedures for parts or services that may be sub-contracted.

o Drug testing program, if required.

o Insurance documents when applicable.

2. Personnel:

o Licensed A&P and IA mechanics employed by the contractor.

o Current mechanic certificates and recent activity records to show compliance with

FAR 65.83 recent experience requirements.

o Number of years of experience or training on specific make and model of aircraft

3. Facility:

o Secure hanger space to perform the required maintenance and store aircraft if needed.

o Required equipment and special tools as applicable.

o Proper storage and marking of hazmat items such as gas bottles, waist oil and hazardous chemicals.

o Adequate number and type of current fire extinguishers.

o Proper safety equipment for emergencies. First aid supplies, eye wash stations ext.

o Emergency exits properly marked.
