· Are additional protection measures required for the wetlands located within the site?
Governed by the authority having jurisdiction i.e.., Army Corps and as noted on the drawings. In addition to the USACE, SCDHEC-OCRM has protection on “TNW” waters (Salt marsh wetlands and tributaries).
· Can more information be provided about the status of permits pertaining to wetlands?
Please be advised a Department of the Army permit will be required for regulated work in all areas which may be waters of the United States, as indicated in this Preliminary Jurisdictional Delineation (PJD) attached. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits.

· What is the right-of-way distance for the utilities?
Coordinated with the local utilities.
· There is a concrete culvert along the railroad bed that will be improved for the main access road. What is the weight limit of that concrete culvert?
Many factors impact the weight limit of that concrete culvert. Assuming the RCP is in adequate condition, given approx. 4.34 ft of cover, its minimum weight limit is rated for HS20 loading.
· Is the single line of silt fencing sufficient, or will a double line of silt fencing be needed?
As noted in the construction documents C-501.
· Please confirm that the general contractor should provide the third-party Special Inspector, per specification 0` 45 35, as part of their bid price.
Yes, unless Program is providing.

Yes. Generally, the manufacturer will stamp these drawings.
· Should the GC price the four Conex boxes shown on the drawings, or are those going to be furnished under a separate contract similar to the office trailers?
Separate contract.
