About this file
This document is a comprehensive technical specifications file for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Sylvan Maintenance Station New Fuel Tank Project, located at 6000 SW Raab Rd in Portland, Oregon. The project involves improvements to vehicle wash facilities, including excavation, utility trenching, concrete work, fuel tank installation, electrical conduits, and associated infrastructure. The technical specifications are dated January 2025 and cover a wide range of construction activities, including concrete forming, reinforcing, earthwork, asphalt paving, fencing, and mechanical and electrical systems. The specifications provide detailed requirements for materials, installation methods, quality control, and performance standards across multiple sections of the project.
The project appears to be funded by ODOT and will be executed under Oregon state procurement guidelines, including specific provisions for materials sourcing under House Bill 3332, which requires that steel, iron, and manufactured products be produced in the United States. The specifications include stringent requirements for material quality, testing, and installation, with particular emphasis on concrete work, utility installations, and environmental considerations. The contract includes provisions for Buy America requirements, with specific guidelines for material origins and documentation. The project will require detailed submittals, quality control documentation, and adherence to Oregon electrical and plumbing codes, with a focus on creating a functional and compliant fuel tank and maintenance station infrastructure.
