About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for Request for Competitive Quotes (RFCQ) No. S-73000-00012620 for the ESB OR 58 MP 86 Stockpile Fence Project. The addendum extends the bid closing date to February 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. and replaces the original RFCQ attachment with a revised version containing updated technical specifications. The project involves installing fencing and gates at a stockpile site, with specific requirements including two 24-foot gate openings (each consisting of two 12-foot gates), Powder River Rancher gates, and a four-wire fence system that can use either wood or metal stays.
The technical specifications clarify that the fence wire can be either 12.5 ga or 15.5 ga, and requires two strand minimum with no barbs and 4 runs. Gate hinges may be bolted with bolts welded to prevent theft, and braces can be either painted or galvanized. The project is specifically seeking one certified Emerging Small Business (ESB) contractor, as indicated in the project description.
