Answer 1: The totals we’ve listed are in liters but it’s issued by standard cubic foot

(SCF) on our shipping receipts.

Question 2: What is the size of the current nitrogen tank?

Answer 2: The current bulk tank is a Chart Model No. VS-1500. Manufacturer’s product data on the bulk tank indicates that the net capacity of the tank is 1,580 gallons (5,981 liters).

Question 3: Is the nitrogen tank leased or owned? If leased, when does the contract expire?

Answer 3: Owned.

Question 4: What is the delivery window for nitrogen refills? Is there 24/7 delivery access?

Answer 4: The business hours for the USDA facility is defined as 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on non-holiday weekdays. During off hours, the driveway to the bulk tank is gated and locked. No exception is taken with off hour delivery. However, the supplier shall coordinate off hour deliveries with USDA (i.e. contact building security) to coordinate the unlocking / opening of the gate.

Question 5: Can we propose bi-weekly pickup and deliveries for cylinders?

Answer 5: At this time we don’t see a problem with bi-weekly delivery.

Question 6: If there are no deliveries scheduled for a given week, will it be okay for the supplier to pick up empties on the next delivery?

Answer 6: At this time we don’t see a problem picking up empties when deliveries are made.

Question 7: What is the size of the Nitrogen vessel? Is telemetry required?

Answer 7: The current bulk tank is a Chart Model No. VS-1500. Manufacturer’s product data on the bulk tank indicates that the net capacity of the tank is 1,580 gallons (5,981 liters). The tank does not employ telemetry.

Question 8: What is the current cylinder balance by product on site?

Answer 8: Due to COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, we do not have an accurate count.

Question 9: Will you accept an alternate cylinder rental (demurrage program), i.e. daily rental instead of annual Flat Demurrage charge?

Answer 9: The Contractor shall charge a flat annual demurrage fee for all cylinders supplied in this contract.

Question 10: Will there be a site visit available?

Answer 10: No.
