About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation 12444526Q0032 dated May 7, 2026, addressing inquiries from prospective bidders regarding a recurring office cleaning services requirement. The incumbent contractor is Always Busy Cleaning Wiltses under Contract Number 12444521P0049, with an original award value of $89,000.00 for the base period plus four option years and a total obligated amount of approximately $169,308.00 as of the Q&A date. The performance period for the incumbent contract runs from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2026.
The requirement involves cleaning services for a federal office building with a population of 50 employees. The building includes three sets of restrooms in the main building (each with men's and ladies' facilities) and two additional restrooms in a secondary building, with specific configurations detailed including stalls, urinals, and showers. The government provides trash and recycling containers on-site. Contractors will have access to a walk-in closet with a deep sink for equipment and weekly supply storage but not office space for contractor staff. The job-specific Safety Plan is due within ten days from the award date, though it may be submitted with the proposal. The Quality Control Plan may be included as an addendum to the Technical Proposal. Site visits are optional and can be scheduled by contacting Marci Bauman at marci.bauman@usda.gov. Proposals should be submitted as separate attachments with UEI identification included; specific naming conventions are not required, and content is prioritized over formatting. The document was prepared by Contract Specialist Michael J. Wheelock.
