About this file

This document is an Errata to a Prospectus for the Operation and Maintenance of Bolar Flat Marina Day Use Facilities issued by the United States Department of Agriculture's George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. The errata makes three key corrections: adjusting the day use fee to $5.00 per vehicle, removing the requirement for an SBDC business plan review, and updating the minimum annual fee to the government from $6,617.70 to $6,946.97.

The underlying opportunity is for a special use permit to operate and maintain a marina and related facilities on Lake Moomaw in Bath County, Virginia. The site includes a 37-slip floating dock, a 652 square foot general store, boat ramp, dry storage lot, picnic areas, and a fishing pier. The facility has averaged annual revenues of $153,152 since 2017. An on-site tour is scheduled for April 1, 2025, at 10:30 AM, with a backup date of April 3, 2025. Interested parties should contact Kevin Kyle, District Ranger, for additional information or tour participation.
