About this file

This document is a Schedule of Items/Price Schedule for a deferred maintenance project at Baker Site for the Manti-Lasal National Forest, issued by the U.S. Forest Service under Solicitation Number 1240LT26R0006. The comprehensive scope includes extensive renovations for three primary structures: a dwelling, a bunkhouse, and an optional garage, with detailed line items covering multiple repair and replacement tasks such as roofing, siding, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, flooring, painting, and structural repairs.

The solicitation requires bidders to quote prices for all listed items, with a total base bid covering dwelling and bunkhouse renovations, plus an optional garage component. Key requirements include mandatory SAM registration, submission of a complete price schedule rounded to the nearest cent, and adherence to specific technical specifications. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible proposer offering the best value to the government, with proposals due by a specified closing date that is not explicitly stated in this document. The estimated total project value encompasses multiple line items across different building elements, with precise quantities specified for each renovation task.

3. Offers for Quantities less than those listed in the numbered items may be rejected.

4. Payment for bond premiums in accordance with FAR 52.232-5. Payments under Fixed-Price Construction Contracts shall not be in addition to the contract price but can be included under Mobilization.

5. The pay items in the Schedule of Items may have suffixes that do not appear on the pay items in the specifications. The suffixes pertain only to sizes, classes, and/or types indicated in the item ‘Descriptions,’ and are used by the Government for computer tabulation of price schedules. For the abbreviations in the schedule descriptions, see Special Project Specification, SPS 101 (07/07/1997).

Proposals submitted in response to this TOPR will not be returned and will be retained by the U.S. Forest Service for official record purposes. This TOPR does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation or the submission of a proposal, or to make any award.

9. Proposals received after the stated closing date and time for submission will be deemed late and will not be considered for award. Contractors are urged to thoroughly read the solicitation and to review all attachments prior to preparing and submitting a proposal.
