About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document clarifying technical specifications and requirements related to a federal contract opportunity involving facility mitigation work.
The document addresses five key inquiries from potential bidders regarding scope and site conditions. Mitigation work includes painting new plywood with two coats of paint as specified in the Statement of Work. No unseen building automation controls are present; contractors must maintain existing connections to furnaces in both the Dwelling and Office structures. Temporary power will be available from the house, eliminating the need for contractors to provide a generator. The site utilizes municipal water with no water coil or pump in the mechanical room; the "pump" label on the electrical panel refers to a septic pump. Two thermostats exist—one in the dwelling and one in the office—with bidders required to provide replacement costs for both as part of Optional Pay Item 7.
