About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for the Island Park Housing Reroofing federal contract opportunity, Solicitation No. 1240LT25R0016. The Q&A addresses multiple technical and procedural aspects of the roofing project, including contract performance details, material specifications, and site-specific considerations. Key clarifications include: the contract period runs from 8/1/2025 to 8/31/2026 with work to be completed within 90 days, the government will handle removal of antennae/dishes and certain obstructing materials prior to project start, and soffit vents are required in new metal soffits. The document also confirms that the contractor should bid according to unit quantities provided, assign a superintendent on-site during work, and have access to power at each dwelling. The project involves removing and replacing metal roofs on 10 housing units, including 3 bunkhouses, 3 duplexes, and 4 single-family homes, with potential optional work for sheathing replacement.
