About this file

This document is Amendment 001 to a federal solicitation for janitorial services at the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Logan Ranger District Office. The amendment was issued on May 20, 2026, with an effective date of May 20, 2026, and addresses questions submitted by offerors regarding the original solicitation (1240LS26Q0018, dated May 13, 2026). The contracting officer confirms that all terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged except as clarified in the question-and-answer responses. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the solicitation deadline by completing items 8 and 15 of Standard Form 30 or by separate written or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.

The Q&A clarifications address operational scope and requirements including that the incumbent contractor is Sanford Federal Inc. under contract 1240LS24P0047 valued at $76,800 over four years; the site visit is not mandatory with no virtual viewing or rescheduled walkthroughs available; the Service Contract Act wage determination requires a minimum of $19.93 per hour ($14.38 base plus $5.55 health and welfare) for janitorial labor; government-furnished property includes keys, utilities, dumpster, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, plastic trash bags, vacuums, vacuum bags, brooms, mop and mop bucket; cleaning may occur before 0800 or after 1630 on business days; and the contractor must follow solicitation task frequencies for carpet and window cleaning. Additional responses clarify that deep cleaning is not required at contract start, snow removal from outside restrooms is included, the LEOs office is excluded from scope, recycling removal is not required, and public-facing areas should receive first priority.
