About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) memorandum for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 1240LP25Q0022 issued by the United States Forest Service (USFS) Procurement & Property Services on April 16, 2025. The solicitation is for a 3 slant horse gooseneck trailer, 100% set aside for small business entities. The Q&A addresses five vendor inquiries regarding trailer specifications, including axle weight, trailer length, and manufacturer requirements.

Key details include confirmation that this is a new purchase order with no incumbent, and vendors must strictly adhere to the specifications outlined in the RFQ. The trailer deck length must be 18-20 feet, not including the tongue, and the government has not predetermined a specific manufacturer or model. The contract specialist, Ismael Sanabria, consistently directed potential bidders to review the solicitation's specifications to ensure compliance with the requirements.
