About this file

This document is a Trail Log for the Naha Trail Reconstruction Phase 2 project, which is related to a pre-solicitation for a federal contract opportunity. The project involves the reconstruction of over 1 mile of the Naha Trail, starting at station 22+04 and ending at the barge ramp at station 79+76, with an optional extension to station 111+46 at the Orton Ranch property boundary. The major work items include the demolition and removal of approximately 1.1 miles of existing wood trail structures, and the installation of various trail components such as bridges, aggregate surfacing, retaining logs, stepping stones, stone retaining walls, drainage features, and boardwalk structures. An optional item is the demolition and removal of excess boardwalk structures adjacent to the Naha Trail. The solicitation is being issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service, and registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required for all offerors.

GENERAL NOTES

1). The beginning of work areas are marked on the ground by wood stakes with the work area number written on them. Leave all stakes in place until such time that the work is accepted by the Government. Should a stake be missing, notify the Government for replacement prior to the commencement of work in that area.

2). The work areas value shown is approximate feet from the beginning of the project or as referenced.

3). The Minimum Aggregate Surfacing Depth shown is the depth after placement and light compaction.

4). The quantities of steps/stones shown for Type CRS are estimates given for the contractor's convenience only. Actual quantities may vary; the contractor is responsible for verifying actual quantities.
