About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for annual inspection of the fire alarm systems at the Rocky Mountain Research Station Moscow Forestry Sciences Lab in Moscow, Idaho.
The contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 1240BG24Q0059, is for the annual inspection and testing of the fire alarm systems in the main building (20,493 square feet over 3 stories with 2 additional landings) and the rain lab (6,400 square feet, 1 story with a loft). The Government does not have an incumbent contractor for this work and is seeking a new contractor to perform the inspections in compliance with NFPA 72. The questions cover details about the existing fire alarm system, including the types of panels, whether any components are not fully operational, and the availability of approved fire alarm prints and an elevator reset key on site. The answers indicate the Government has not identified any known issues with the system at this time.
