Combined Synopsis/Solicitation – Questions and Answers GRD Cargo Van Upfit

The questions in this document were submitted by offerors in response to solicitation 1240BF25Q0004, GRD Cargo Van Upfit posted in SAM.Gov on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2:14 PM (AKST). The answers were provided by the Requiring Agency and reviewed by the Contracting Office.

1. Question: Does the van need a partition (bulkhead) supplied and installed as well? There is one in the picture but nothing in the items required.

Answer: No. We don’t need a partition (bulkhead).

2. Question: Do you want the doors and roof insulated as well as the walls? The wall insulation kits do not include doors and roof. The solicitation does not mention it, and the illustration does not show them being insulated.

Answer: Yes. We do want the doors and roof insulated as well.

3. Question: For the shelving, did you want the partition shown in the illustration?

Answer: No. No partition/bulkhead needed.

4. Question: Need clarification regarding the shelving depth requirement specified in solicitation

1240BF25Q0004 for the GRD Cargo Van Upfit. The solicitation states that the shelving units must have a 15-inch depth and emphasizes the importance of compatibility with Milwaukee Pack-Out Organizers. However, it is unclear whether this requirement refers to the overall shelf depth or the usable depth of the shelves.

Answer: The 15-inch depth can be overall shelf or usable depth. Either will work to fit the Milwaukee Pack-Out Organizers.
