About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for federal contract Solicitation 1232SA26Q0760, consisting of fourteen clarifying responses related to greenhouse ventilation system repair work at Building 30.

The Q&A addresses personnel staffing, project scheduling, environmental compliance, and equipment specifications. Key approvals include: a single individual may simultaneously serve as Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Quality Control Manager; the period of performance may be extended post-award upon confirmation of material and equipment lead times; no asbestos or lead paint has been identified in Building 30; the contract is tax-exempt; no permitting is required; and contractors must submit a contract-specific QA/QC Plan. Regarding repair scope, vent wall panels, vent motors, drive assemblies, mounting posts, and mounting brackets may all be repaired and reused rather than replaced. Mounting posts are not required to be concreted in the ground, and landscaping restoration is limited to simple grading of disturbed areas only. The government will provide contractors full and unencumbered access to both the interior and exterior of greenhouse bays with damaged panels and complete access to the Wadsworth control system for testing and operation procedures. Site visit attendance documentation from June 17-18, 2026 has been posted as an attachment on sam.gov.
