About this file
This document is a Requests for Information (RFI) Q&A for solicitation 1232SA26Q0628 addressing shelter repair and replacement requirements.
The solicitation involves repairs to seven existing Atlas shelters and replacement of three additional shelters (Shelters 7, 9, and 10). Repair work specifications include: Shelter 1 requires side skirt replacement, broken string replacement for skirt operation, and bent skirt pole replacement; Shelters 2, 3, 6, and 8 require side skirt replacement with Shelters 2 and 3 also needing broken string replacement; and Shelters 4 and 5 require both side skirt and plastic roof replacement. Bidders must use SF-1442 as the bid form, available as an attachment on the sam.gov notice. Only Atlas brand shelters are acceptable to match existing units. The project qualifies for sales tax exemption. The government clarified that no additional damage assessment documentation beyond the repair list provided in Answer 2 is available to support pricing decisions, which may limit bidders' ability to accurately estimate costs based on the limited information disclosed.
