About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation #1232SA25Q0114 regarding the repair of two radiators on standby generators located at a USDA Agricultural Research Service facility in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The Q&A provides detailed site-specific information for potential contractors, including that the generators are located inside a room, have 120V power outlets available, and require consecutive repair work - first on the 1000kW generator, then the 750kW generator. Both radiators are Modine Industrial Heat Exchanger units, and the solicitation allows for either repair or manufacturer-suggested replacement, provided specifications match. Contractors will need to park within 100 feet of the generators and have sufficient clearance to remove the radiators.

The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 811310, with a business size standard of $12.5 million. The government intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order with a 60-day performance period. Quotes are due by June 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Central, and must be submitted electronically to the Contract Officer, Erin M. Riffey. The award will be based on the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable quote, and offerors must have an active SAM.gov registration and complete required representations and certifications.
